Experience Post: Senior Art Show

I'm sad that I couldn't attend opening night, but I was able to see the gallery the next day. While I had already seen all of the student work in the art hallway, it was interesting seeing multiple artists displayed together. Every student took the same class and had access to the same materials yet their works looked radically different. From animation, to mixed media, and just average materials, looking at the art really opened my eyes to how many options I have next year. I really enjoyed Sydney's work as I also like to create 3D art. I was really surprised at how large her pieces were as I've never even attempted something that big. Another artist I liked was Lucie Bouton's work as it centered around people, something I've always been drawn to creating. Overall, looking at all the art made me more excited for next year and my new opportunities.
