Figure Drawing

The Figure Drawing process definitely had some ups and downs. I think my gesture drawings improved a lot, and I'm proud of how well some of them captured motion. When I worked with just contour and not value, I think my pieces turned out a lot better. I feel like I just got overwhelmed when attempting a longer drawing, and I'm not happy with how any of those turned out. In both of my attempts, the proportions are off as well as the shading. After doing these in class I tried doing some more just from pictures, which turned out a lot better. I think drawing from a model is just particularly hard for me.
