In-Class Project Progress Post

The idea for my in class project is a wearable item that represents gravity, light, and motion. My first design included a very specific sleeve shape, but I struggled to recreate it using solely paper. Instead I completely changed my design and used different materials. The general goal remained the same, structured but organic, old but modern. I don't know if those adjectives make sense to everyone for describing light, motion, and gravity, but they do to me. I'm going to try to stick to my original plan for the rest of it, but because I've never done anything like this with these materials, I'm kind of making it up as I go. The whole thing will probably be trial and error.
